Google Calendar - Remove Birthdays - Android App

Google Calendar on Android provides the ability to remove the birthdays calendar completely or granular control of what birthdays you see. When you use the Android app to set these settings they reflect on the desktop too.

Instructions

  1. In the Google Calendar Android app use the three-lined Menu button to open the "drawer" (slide out side menu);

  2. Scroll down to Settings

  3. Press on Birthdays

  4. Press on the account you want to change the Birthday options for

  5. Choose which birthdays you want to see:

    • Google+ circles and contacts

    • Contacts

    • Do not include birthdays

  6. The calendars you do not want to see will disappear from your calendar in both the Android app and the desktop web browser.

Google Calendar does not provide any way to remove the the birthdays calendar or choose what birthdays to display on the desktop web browser at the moment.
