Google Drive
Do you want to Create from template in Google Drive?  Google has just released an update to the Create button in Google Drive.  The update makes it easier for you to see your third-party Drive apps and gives more space to the Google Drive native apps, Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation etc.  As part of the update Google decided to remove the from template option, so it's now more difficult to get to your Google Drive document, spreadsheet and presentation templates.

Here at we use our Google Drive document, spreadsheet and presentation templates a lot, as it's a really great and useful feature, so we decided to help everyone by making a Google Drive app you can add to the Create button to restore the from template functionality.

  1. Use the Authorize button on the right to add the app to your Google Drive Create button
(if you cannot see the Authorize button you are signed into more than one account, sign out of all accounts and reload this page)

  2. Use the Allow access button to confirm you wish to add the app to Google Drive.

  3. Once added you should see our "congratulations" message

That's it: you're done! Go to Google Drive and you will see the
... from template option on the create button.

Add ... from template to your Google Drive Create button

Note: if you cannot see the Authorize button above just sign out.
