Google has released a Chrome Extension that enables you save content from web pages directly into Google Drive.

You can configure the extension to save the content in the following ways:

  • Images
    • Images get saved into Google Drive directly as an image using the same format.
  • HTML Web Pages
You can can configure the Chrome extension to save web pages in one of the following ways
    • Image of entire page (.png)
    • Image of visible page (.png)
    • HTML source (.html)
    • Web archive (.mht)
    • Google Document
  • HTML 5 Audio & Video
Google Drive saves these both in their HTML 5 format but  a great deal of audio and video exists on the internet that do not use the HTML 5 formats.

It's another great feature from Google to make use of Google Drive much easier.
