Site Sharing and Visibility Options - classic Google Sites
Classic Google Sites has a new Sharing interface and sharing options: you can make your classic site publicly accessible but not indexed by search engines. You can still invite people who can edit the site, view the site and site owners.

Instructions - Accessing the Sharing Settings
You can get to the Sharing and Permissions in three ways:
Use the blue Share button;
Use the More (cog/gear) button, then Sharing and Permissions;
Use the keyboard shortcut Shift+S

Access the Sharing and Permissions
Use the Change link at the top of the list under Permissions to display the Visibility options
Choose Public on the web and use the Save button
Use the Close button to return to the site

Access the Sharing and Permissions
Use the Change link at the top of the list under Permissions to display the Visibility options
Choose Anyone with the link and use the Save button
Use the Close button to return to the site

Access the Sharing and Permissions
Use the Change link at the top of the list under Permissions to display the Visibility options
Choose Domain (your domain name) and use the Save button
Use the Close button to return to the site

Access the Sharing and Permissions
Use the Change link at the top of the list under Permissions to display the Visibility options
Choose People at Domain with the link and use the Save button

Use the Change link at the top of the list under Permissions to display the Visibility options
Choose Specific People and use the Save button
Use the Close button to return to the site
Instructions - Enable Sharing Outside the Domain (Google Apps only)
Access your Google Apps domain Control Panel
(http://admin.google.com/ and sign in with your domain admin account)
Use the Google Apps icon and then scroll through the list of the Google Apps and choose Sites
Use the Access settings link and then choose one of these two options
Users can share outside [Domain], but will receive a warning each time
Users can share share sites outside [Domain] (without any warning)
Tick Users can make Sites public
Use the Save Changes button (it appears at the bottom of the page)
