Use the Settings (looks like a cog/gear) near the Publish button.
Choose the Brand images option.
Choose to Upload your logo or Select from Google Drive, Google Photos, search results or from a URL.
Your logo appears at the top of the page header.
Close the Settings dialogue box.
Use the Publish button to make the logo live on the site.

Enter the text in the Alt text box
Close the Settings dialogue box.
Use the Publish button to make the changes live.
The logo is only displays at 40 pixels tall but Google recommends you upload an image with a minimum height of 112 pixels, so you may want to create a logo specifically for your site as complex detail will be lost.
